In the previous season of 1000 Lb Sisters, she revealed she has POTS, which stands for postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.

Amanda stated, “I’ve made lifestyle changes, but I need to do better.”The way Amanda felt about her health was right. She was right when she said her heart rate would skyrocket when she stood or sat. Dizziness, fainting, anxiety, chest pain, headaches, and bloating are a couple of symptoms that POTS patients have to tackle. On social media, she has already spoken out on most of them.

​Amanda started her entrepreneurship with Leonard next to her. They launched their first few merchandise items, which are customized mugs and hoodies. He handles her and her siblings’ finances wisely. Moreover, he is her biggest cheerleader. During her weight loss, she thrived a lot because of his love and assurance. That’s why she got the strength both from her partner and her tough weight loss journey to open up a business.
