The Big Brother schedule looks a bit different as August continues.

Producers have big plans for the 1,000th episode, and Unlocked airs on a new night.

Lots of drama is coming during the next few episodes, and a big twist was teased.

We are in Week 7 of the 2026 Big Brother season. So far, the icons are controlling everything.

Some fans have complained a lot on social media, stating that it’s “unfair” and that the icons are getting advantages not afforded to everyone else.

But can one of the icons actually win that $750,000 prize? Or will the rest of the BB28 cast stand up and stop it?

Big Brother 28 schedule changes revealed for CBS episodes

One big thing to note: The next episode of Big Brother: Unlocked airs on a Sunday (instead of a Friday).

Below is a breakdown of what’s coming up:

• Sunday, August 23: Big Brother: Unlocked at 8/7c.
• Sunday, August 23: Big Brother 28 new episode covering HOH and Noms at 9/8c.
• Wednesday, August 26: Big Brother 28 new episode covering POV at 8/7c (90 minutes).
• Thursday, August 27: Big Brother 28 new episode covering Eviction/BB Blockbuster at 8/7c (90 minutes).
• Sunday, August 30: Big Brother 28 new episode at 8/7c.

The August 27 episode is also the 1,000th episode. Many alums are expected to attend, with the producers already promoting lots of fun.

We fully expect many alums to discuss the event on social media. Regarding the “twist” that is projected to happen, it is unclear how far the producers will take it. Could they introduce a new player? That would be diabolical at this point in the season.
