Pumpkin’s Job Comes With Consequences

Mama June has made a lot of mistakes in her life, and some have said that her children have had to pay for them. At the same time, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson is excelling as she is in college and thriving. Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon is also a graduate, and now Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird has found a way to more than support herself. Yes, she has turned a lot of people against her with some of her decisions. Now, she is making bank on OnlyFans and with public appearances, but has no shame. She can provide a great life for herself and her children, which she proudly shares on social media.

Unfortunately, Pumpkin recently tried to enroll her oldest child, Ella, into a private school. It seemed that everything was going very well, and they were ready to get her started.

Then, per Pumpkin, the school requested a meeting but made Ella sit outside. As Pumpkin stated, they shared that her “social media does not align with their school.” She noted that she had gone through the whole process and was ready to lay down a lot of money. Then, she and her daughter were rejected because of Pumpkin’s job. She added that she was heartbroken, as Ella really wanted to go to this school. Mama June fans have already called out Pumpkin and her ex-husband for exploiting Ella on the show.

The former couple allegedly told her about their split on camera, which was very infuriating. However, Pumpkin Efird was trying to do something amazing for Ella, and this happened.

Don’t Punish The Child

Despite how Mama June fans felt about Pumpkin Efird, and they did not like her, they did not think it was right to punish Ella. Moreover, they spoke out about how she had no skin in the game and should be able to go to any school:

• Doesn’t seem right to punish a child for their parents choices. If you feel her mother is so morally bankrupt wouldn’t she need guidance even more?
• society needs to stop judging children by the actions of their parent. Perhaps the school could have provided the kids with something they were missing (if anything) at home. Instead, it’s punish the kids for what their parents do to survive.
•  isn’t this discrimination?? I think I would consult an attorney.!

It is sad that this had to happen, but Pumpkin seems more offended that it was brought up so late in the game. They gave her and her daughter false hope rather than just being up front with them.
